Wednesday is Open the Book day, so we have to be at school in time to begin at 9.00am! Just time to set up the props, and have a quick prayer before the hall starts to fill up with expectant faces. Today the story was Abraham and Sarah, and the birth of Issac.
When we came out of school, I gazed across the school field, over the frosted grass to the copse beyond, and thought what a beautiful spot. No-one would know that we are in the middle of a huge housing estate, and a few hundred yards from an industrial estate.
I am so glad we have these green spaces within our town.
