The Ultimate Spoonerism!

Remember the flowers I shared on the 18th February?

Finally, even I realised that they had to go!
I tipped the water down the sink. It didn't matter which sink, after all it was only water.....and then I heard a 'chink!'
My heart sank the fastest sink ever, as I remembered contemplating filling the vase with glass nuggets, and deciding not to bother after adding just one.
That one was now in the waste disposal unit.
In my wildest, most optimistic moment, not even I could convince myself that I would be able to float the nugget out.
If I didn't remove it before someone turned on the disposal unit, would it wreck it?
Sigh
I was going to have to rescue it,
So I peered down the narrow opening, but I couldn't see it.
I walked round the house, and returned to the sink. it hadn't jumped out. :(
I fished around with a large spoon, more with optimism than any real ambition of succeeding, but fishing carefully, not wishing to disturb or offend the beast that lives within - and then I saw it!!!
Suddenly, by some miracle, the nugget was on the spoon. I raised it carefully, expecting that jealous monster to snatch it back at any moment.
Success is surprising, and strangely satisfying.
LOL! Awesome save and you got a lovely pic out of the deal! :0)
