Today we went to Hidcote, gardens owned by the National Trust, this shot was taken at the top of the hill leading to Hidcote, where it was wonderfully atmospheric!
On an early season Monday we were expecting it to be quiet, but the car park was surprisingly full. Despite this the gardens were a lot emptier than they usually are on a Sunday afternoon, so it was lovely to spend time there without a child or two in tow!
We were rather amused to be served by a staff member on their first day in both the cafe and shop!
Good to see all the new growth, will be great to return in a few weeks and see how much the gardens have changed
