This morning I had a bit of a disaster when emptying the bin in the study, and somehow crumbs ended up on the floor. As I was about to go to work I left the hoover in the hall to remind me that it needed clearing up.
Then I had a brainwave.
I got my daughter to use the hoover for the first time ever.
When she was younger I had to hoover when she was out, as she would get distressed.
I just had to take a picture to record the moment.
At school the staff have encouraged her to be independent, but not managed to give this a positive spin, and she sees independence as a bad thing!
She didn't mind me taking the photo.
She just muttered
"and don't mention independence"
so hopefully I haven't....
In the background is my husband's desk.
Obviously his because it is MUCH tidier than mine and has a music note above it!
On the right is the stuff that has still to be sorted from ' the great move around'. It will happen. One day.
I have to wait for his nibs to do it as I haven't got a clue!
