Exhilarating walking to walk this morning with thunder rumbling around!
I paused on the bridge over the highway to take some pictures, but not for long, as there were lots of small flashes of lightening around and the storm was moving in.
The rain started when I was in sight of work, and I stood in the doorway, watching, as the rain cascaded off the roof, the rain giving way to hail for a while, before the heavy rain continued.
Lots of localised flash flooding and the ring road was closed when part of wall came down taking a few trees with it. http://www.redditchstandard.co.uk/2012/06/28/news-Ring-road-closed-after-wall-collapses-43731.html The store and car park were evacuated - dramatic enough to feature on the website of the local rag, but scarcely causing a ripple beyond the town itself...
