One of the venues used at Greenbelt is the main grandstand,
they set up a stage facing so that a large number of people can take part.
It is also a good place to go and eat, as you can sit down!
We went to the Taize rehearsal.
We began by sitting on chairs in front of the grandstand, but as the rain got heavier and heavier, we retreated back further and further.
The Thunder rumbled and lightning added to the drama
The session ended leaving the lead singers, who had been teaching us the 4 part harmonies for a service later that weekend, trapped on the stage.
“We will just wait here" declared the leader.
Then this pair ran out into the rain and started to dance
Everyone cheered :)
