Morose Mavis, Jumpy Joyce and Rude Rhoda were thoroughly irritated by the flamboyant behaviour of Posh Pam
"Look at her, showing off again!" muttered Morose Mavis.
Rude Rhoda didn't bother with the niceties of character assassination by gossip, she just blew the loudest raspberry ever, by an iris, and stuck her tongue out as far as it would go
"Oh! You made me jump!" quavered Jumpy Joyce, bashing her petals against the others
"Ouch!
"Owwwwww" they protested.
But Posh Pam just looked on, smiling serenely, knowing that she was the best, the most perfect, most well proportioned Iris in the porch
