As light fades from the sky
and yellow and red hues
replace the blue
from earlier.
For a while every twig and every building
form stark outlines against the sky,
detail and colour forgotten
as the light fades slowly from the sky and darkness claims the land once more.
Those listening to the rhythm of the earth take rest, while foolish man rushes on
in pursuit of his own agenda.
Stop!

Watch the sunset,
Look to the skies
see the glory of creation
displayed for you.
