Having searched the web for local curches we decided to go to St Bees 10:30am. I took this shot just before getting out the car, when I noticed the rainbow. As it was taken through the windscreen you can see the raindrop in the bottom righ hand corner of the picture.
As she didn't recognise us the greater asked us if we were "Monaghan or Fee" apparently they were the surnames of the two children being baptised this morning. Alas, we were just random visitors...
Baptisms during Morning Worship often end up being rather chaotic, and this was no exception. Good to see a robed choir, though it made me realise how much we take amplification for granted. We were sat in the side aisle and though I saw some overhead mics I didn't really notice any effect. A pity as what I heard was good.
