The red glow is a reflection of the clock on the cooker. I could have put something over it, or got someone to stand in the way. I could have attempted to edit it out, but I didn't. I chose to leave it there, because it IS there. A reminder of the passing of time, and that authenticity and perfection are not necessarily the same thing...
