After lunch on the beach we headed inland on a spontaneous church hunt - no idea where we were going or what we would find. Discovered this thatched gem at Hempstead. It used to be longer, but suffered severe storm damage in the 60's . The church ends abruptly with a brick wall. Just ruins remain of the East end of the building.
