Flying the Line

I love hearing and seeing the geese fly northward in the springtime. I was surprised by this tiny flock of geese flying by my house. I was in the process of taking shots of daffodil flowers in front of the sky. Quickly, I swung my camera upwards and captured this image. I was so surprised that I was able to capture this image at all. My camera was set on a macro setting, which is definitely the wrong setting to use to capture a shot of the sky, the birds and/or any kind of action. I did not have time to compose the shot. I only had the time to aim towards the birds and squeeze the shutter. I realize this is not the greatest photo ever of flying geese, but I was and am elated!
