A dense fog brought water droplets that covered the buds of the dogwood tree. There were thick, dark storm clouds above the dense fog. Finally, it rained later on in the day. Fortunately, we missed the worst of the severe weather. We did get about twenty minutes of heavy rain, but we did not get the sustained, gentle rain that my area so much needs. I am grateful thought that we did get some moisture.
