It was warm enough today for me to comfortably take a walk through my gardens. As I looked for perennial plants beginning to show their Spring growth, my eyes were caught by this perrenial. This plant has been up for a few months. It is beginning to get some red to it. It is also collecting debri, such as tiny pieces of old leaves and seeds, that has blown in with the high winds we have been having.
P.S. I did see some "baby" perrenials: clover, perennial geranium, hollyhock,.... I know my area will have some more Winter weather, but it did me good to see these early signs of Spring.
@olivetreeann Thank you. There are usually more signs of Spring this time of year. This Winter is more severe than usual. I am looking forward to Spring.
A lovely promise for spring .
