It was record breaking cold early this morning. There was a ridge of ice and droplets of moisture on the north windows of my house. Lots of the schools and some of the businesses were closed today due to the cold and the ice. I was going to a music concert this evening, but it was postponed to a hopefully warmer evening. Is this really March?
Fascinating shot - think our teachers are planning their first 4th of July school picnic this year! Honestly, one of our districts has had 21 snow days this winter. Come on, spring!
@milaniet Thanks! Spring and summer plans are being made here. It seems unreal to be planning for warmer times when we are still in the grips of winter.
@pyrrhula Thank you. I wish I could send you some ice and snow. I actually have learned to like the beauty of winter, but yesterday I almost fell down on the ice in the front of my house and in the back of my house. I need skates to be able to walk!
Although we are a skating nation we have n`t have any ice/frost this year
