Waiting

It warmed up today. People are still waiting for spring to come. These dogwood buds are closed tightly and waiting to bloom. Only the snowdrop plants are beginning to show signs of blooming. This is the impatient time of year, when people yearn for spring. After a warm up today and tomorrow, snow is forecast for Saturday. No, it is not spring yet. It is time for more impatient waiting.
