I have been doing a black and white abstract once each week. This photo is my BW abstract for this week. In my city, a number of the newer buildings have canopies protecting the entrance doors. This canopy is a bit different, because it has skylights in it. The skylights are a bit different than the usual square skylights. The color reflections were a bit distracting, so I processed this to be black and white.
P.S. The snow and the hard freeze came yesterday. I covered up all the plants I could. A frost is predicted for tonight. I will uncover the plants tomorrow and see which ones made it through this confused weather. Perhaps this snow was our last one until the 2014-15 Winter???
@jle__ Thanks! I shot this canopy last year, but I like this shot better due to the way I captured the lines. I will keep practicing on getting lines well.
