August 2: Light among the darkness

The emergency lantern we have fascinates me. I have used this lantern for more photo opps than I have used it for lighting when the power goes off. I am glad that I have not had to use it much during power outages.

This shot is for the light and shadows theme for the sixth BW fortnight challenge.

@olivetreeann @pyrrhula Thanks! We usually use candles during power outages, but this latern is really nice, because we can carry it from room to room with us. We like this lantern!
