I never thought that I would do a water lily in gray. The colors of the water lilies are so vibrant. However, this black and white image does show me a lot about black and white photography. My only regret is that I do not have a polarizing filter, as I have a bridge camera (fixed lens without the ability to fit on any filters). The sun was really bright at the time of the day when I took this shot. The sun was really reflecting off of the lily pads.
