It thunderstormed and rained most of the day. I finally was able to catch a time between storms to run outside to take shots of the flowers. Once outside, I realized that I had to shoot the pictures quickly and then move onto another part of the garden. Swarms of mosquitoes followed me across the garden. I found out how difficult it is to take pictures when being attacked by these insects! The mosquitoes must have been blood thirsty because 1. no one else was crazy enough to be outside and/or 2. they are trying to get all the food they can before it turns cold. I was able to get this shot of a zinnia, before it started to rain again. I was unable to post this shot yesterday. My computer was off due to the storms. Fortunately, we just got some high wind, some small hail and a moderate amount of rain.
