November 25: Looking at both sides

From the street side of the tree, the leaves looked all brown and drab. From the house side of the tree, the leaves looked colorful. If one looked closely, there were variations of color within each leaf. This illustrated to me how important my perception of things can be. I can see something as being ugly and of no consequence OR I can look for the beauty by seeing from another perspective. This realization was one of my blessings today.
