This Santa is from my Santa Claus collection.He is so different than my usual Santas. He has a cardinal bird in a nest for a hat. There is another cardinal on his walking staff. His outfit and facial hair look like they are made of tree bark. There are Autumn leaves decorating his outfit and the snow he is standing on. A couple of pine cones are also round on the snow. This Santa is one of my favorites in my collection.
My mother used to say that people show more love towards others at Christmas than at any other time of year. Although my mother was religious, she liked Santa. She said that Santa symbolized love. She said to always remember Christmas love and to show love towards to others. Later on this month, I hope to share the story of how and why my Santa collection began.
This month, I plan to show my favorite Christmas decorations, Christmas decorations that catch my eye in my community, and perhaps a bit of winter.
