Neutralized

The temperatures rose to the mid thirties. I thought that I would see some melting in the puddle. There was little change to the puddle ice. A few of the leaves emerged a tiny bit more from the ice. This leaf continued to stay on the surface of the ice. The ice even seemed to thicken a bit more, as shown here. The day was really gray. I decided to leave the color tones as I saw them, instead of upping the contrast. This photo seemed to me to reflect the somber colors of this time of winter. Perhaps there will be some snow or sleet to show on the puddle tomorrow.
It's interesting how soft and wispy it looks! Nicely captured.
