Tiny Ray of Sunshine by daisymiller

Tiny Ray of Sunshine

A tiny ray of sunshine shone down on the dried flower petal of my prayer plant. I usually prune off the blossoms of this plant when the blossoms curl up. However, I missed this one. This dried blossom presents all kinds of photo opps for me. This BW shot is for the Flash of Red (BW) February challenge. The color version of this shot can be found in my 365 2 album.
The b&w sure brings out the details nicely.

A beautiful capture of light and shadows , lines and curves , sharp focus and the softer focus in other parts enhancing the 3D effect which is so clear in this B/W image --I find this B/W is superior to your coloured version --fav
