Store Window Abstract by daisymiller

Store Window Abstract

I took a photo walk downtown to take pictures of the Christmas decorations. I saw some interesting store window displays. This one was the most contemporary of all of the displays I saw. This display intrigued me with all of the lines and reflections and characteristics of the old window glass.
Nice abstract indeed! Good eye in spotting it.

@olivetreeann @linnypinny Thanks. The store owners probably wondered what I was doing as I walked down the sidewalk and peered into their windows with my camera.

@kategoring Thank you. It was difficult to get a good perspective of the ornaments without having the lines be in the wrong spot. I would like to go back and shoot this one again to see if I could get a different perspective that would work better.

@sangwann Thank you. I knew that the window display was supposed to look pretty and I tried to convey that in my photo. I found this in a shop that mostly sells bridal clothing, but also sells crafts & craft materials.

@stownsend Thank you. I had to study these ornaments to see how they were put in the window display. If you look carefully, you can see the hooks that they are hanging from. Someone had to put some thought into how to do this display.

@pyrrhula Thanks. I looked into every store window when I walked down the sidewalk. I almost missed this display, because the wedding dresses were taking up most of the window spaces for this store.
