The rain finally arrived. I knew it was going to be an all day rain when the birds swarmed to the bird feeder and did not wait for the rain to stop falling. This bird looked particular miserable. When it was eating, the sunflower seed hulls stuck to the top of its head.
Miserable is a very fitting title for this picture. Yes, the poor little thing looks very sad. Hopefully the rain is gone now and the birds can dry out!
