Cone Flower Gone

The cone flower's seed are almost gone. It amazes me that this flower stalk is still standing after the winter winds we had.
The flower itself is so lovely - one can now see the structure of it to hold it so well!

Without the petals , the seed head has a beautiful structure , you have captured this so well , the light ,monotones and textures make it a beautiful image -fav
