I went out of town for one of my annual medical checkups. I received a good checkup, so that is really good news. On the way back home, we drove the "country way". It was good to see the countryside greening up. I noticed that the farmers had planted the winter wheat in the corn (and other crop) stubble in the fields. The wheat plants are greening up. I found that the green color has a darker gray tone than does the brown stubble and the brown grass. The farmstead in the background may be a family farm. The house and barn are of "the older style" common to this area.
