I think the weather is confused. We have been having March winds in April. This tulip did not know what to do. The sun would shine for several minutes and it would open up. When I snapped this shot, the tulip was in the process of opening up. Then, the clouds would roll back in and the tulip would close its petals. The 2016 spring weather seems to be constantly changing.
You've certainly described the weather here, too. So much wind - I'd hoped when March ended the winds would die down but they're calling for 30-35 mph tomorrow - it sure makes shooting pictures hard unless you're doing a large building! You've sure done well here - like the feeling of sway but nice and clear.
Very pretty. I might be reporting the weather we are experiencing in Malta. Three days ago it was so sunny and hot that we had to go indoors; today it is very windy and cold.
The pinkish red is beautifully contrasted to the green leaves. Our weather has also been off and on this Spring. It just goes like that sometimes. Good shot!
