Bee Dance Painted Red by daisymiller

Bee Dance Painted Red

Each spring, I try to buy one new plant that I have never tried before. Here is this year's new plant. This is called Bee Dance Painted Red and is a Bidens Hybrid. The other variety of the Bidens Hybrid is called Painted Yellow. I saw the Painted Red plants at one of the local greenhouses. I knew I wanted this plant right away. The blossoms were bright and cheery. The Bee Dance is supposed to attract bees and butterflies.
Odd name but there must be a reason! Nice bright flower!

@maggiemae I thought it was an odd name too. I think it is called Bee Dance because it attracts bees.

Very pretty- although it looks more orange than red to me. I hope you'll get lots of butterfly shots from it!
