Cloudy February

February has had lots of clouds. I love blue, sunny skies. In addition, I have wanted to have lots of light for this week's black and white challenge. Therefore, I have been wishing for clear skies with lots of bright sunlight. P.S. I was trying for a contrast between the light and dark in this BW image, but I think the dark cloudy day with low light levels got to me.

We've had more than the usual number of cloudy days, too - just no rain. Burn bans everywhere in the state nearly. This does show the dreariness of the day perfectly - really interesting clouds.

Although you may not have achieved the contrast you wanted, the clouds give you something else- a dramatic and moody atmosphere.

@sailingmusic They look a bit like snow clouds, but it was too warm to snow. It is really dry here. We could use some precipitation.
