The cone flowers are blooming and blooming. I am glad that the cone flowers like this hot and humid July.
I received good news today. I entered two photos into the state fair's top 50 art exhibit. A judge selects fifty pieces of art to be in this exhibit. One of my photos was accepted into this exhibition. I am so thrilled! I felt like I was walking on air this morning. I will find out if my photo receives a ribbon or award on Wednesday, August 9th. It would be nice to get a ribbon and/or award. However, just having a photo accepted into this exhibit is wonderful. I will share this photo after I attend the August 9th artist reception. I can tell you that the photo is a macro flower shot and was taken in April of this year.
