Healing

Each year, my husband and I travel to a bigger city for our annual medical screens and tests. Outside the hospital examination rooms, there is a healing garden inside a courtyard. When you enter the garden, you feel immediately at peace. Our appointments were a bit later than usual. The reflections of the surrounding exterior building walls fascinated me. P.S. Our exams had mixed results. Both my husband and I had no immediate medical conditions to take care of. However, we both had red flags that popped up during our exams. Both of us must be diligent in our health care. Since my health concern that popped up was a higher cancer risk than normal, I will see a special nurse practitioner later in the year. We will discuss medical interventions and healthy changes to make to reduce my cancer risk. Thank goodness there was a peaceful garden to retreat to on the day of medical testing!

Good you chose to do this medical warrant of fitness! And lovely to have that garden. I was in the Los Angeles Railway Station and they had the most beautiful garden there with fountains to sit in!
