Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. I have favorites among my Christmas decorations. This is one that came to me in pieces. At one time, my husband went to auctions. We found these four Christmas pieces in the bottom of one of the boxes of tings he bought at an auction. I liked them so much that I wanted to display them. The decorated pieces of wood stood up, but looked a bit plain to me. When I showed them to my mother, she told me that she had the perfect idea. My father was cutting cedar trees down on their acreage and making them into lumber. My mother was using the smaller pieces for her art work. She glued the tree and the Santa onto a cedar plaque. The two gifts can be moved around. This is my arrangement for this year. Both of my parents have been dead for several years, so this piece is a sentimental one for me.
