I love these things! I had one and we were goofing off (probably using it for a ball bat or something) and the thing got broke, there are a gazillion little teeny tiny rock like things in them. It was hell to clean up, but they sound so cool.
Thanks, Terri! I've never cracked one open, but always wanted to see the insides. As I understand it, the rocks make the rain sound by knocking against cactus spines that are shoved in to the indentations. Another thing that makes me ask "where did they come up with this idea..."
