Went to "Weirdos" comedy club in King's Cross. I'd read about them a few times and heard good things, so I was keen to finally see it. It was pretty rubbish in the end! The premise was that we'd been transported 25 years into the future, and we were witnessing what stand up was like in 2038. Solid premise, and good attention to detail with the tin foil, and the audience all made their own tin foil accoutrements. The material was pretty rubbish though, and the audience was unresponsive, so we left at half time and retreated to the downstairs bar. Which was infinitely more enjoyable!
