So, Daniel Kitson is doing a new show in Australia this month and he's previewing it at the Battersea Arts Centre (in the part that didn't burn down last week). I booked to see it, expecting it to be finalised. It's a play with 21 characters; one played by him, and 20 pre-recorded onto tapes that the audience members will be given. The tapes don't exist yet, so the 20 others were played by audience members, including me. So in a 40 seat room, half of us also ended up being part of the cast. It was an interesting experience, and it means I can kind of say that I've performed in a play with/by Daniel Kitson, even though my part was tiny.
