I was taking others photos and just noticed how happy the sky looked in the morning. What can I say...I am addicted to clouds. Prayers to all who were affected by this solemn day.
Lots of movement captured here, Danette and like the way you have captured the light behind and around the dark cloud. Yes prayers for those affected on this day and hope there has been light behind their darkness.
you know, I have been overawed by the clouds the last few days - coming home from work they were stunning and all I kept thinking was that I could never capture the feeling I got in a photograph - it just wouldn't do it justice...
@chepstowgirl I think you might be surprised what you capture when you keep at it. I have been taking clouds for years and have many thousands of them. It gives me great pleasure to thumb through the file. It really just takes practice and experimentation. I was frustrated for a long time and I still have work to do, but every shot teaches me something, even the bad ones.
