The early morning sun drew me out into the garden for a few photos. Thanks to this lovely bee for stopping by and posing! I had no idea his beak was so large!
what a macro!!! that bug (or whatever it is) is amazing!!!!!! neat colors!

@jsvigil @hollandcrew Thanks to both of you! They are a bright green (irridescent even) and hover then flit, hover and flit. They are very, very fast. They must have seasons because I haven't seen them in a while. They were not there this morning and all of a sudden, two appeared. Thank you for your nice comments.

Amazing capture Danette! Actually that is its tongue. Only birds have beaks.
