I stopped by a local park since today's word is water. I heard these babies all the way on the other side of the lake, squawking for mom. There were plenty of adult ducks around, including another mom with babies...but these babies were ignored. I felt horrible for them! I don't like Muscovies, but these are just babies. I called the Humane Officer and I hope they will do something.
@lucypics You'd know since you have Muscovies in your area. I've always seen the moms right with their babies. This lake is by a busy road. I hope she didn't get hit. :-(
