If you come to Orlando and can stay here, you should! The resort took the name from Shingle Creek, which borders the property and is the headwaters to the Everglades. Though it is an elegant place with a beautiful golf course, they did a wonderful job keeping native plants and wetlands. I wasn't able to get over to the creek (for fear of being hit by a stray golf ball), but I was able to enjoy some of the wildlife out here today.
Oh, wow I live north of Orlando. I have lived here since 1976 but have never been in that area. Now, you've given me a chance to go exploring for sure we these beautiful photos.
