We got a private tour of the Wick Costume Museum last night before the "White Christmas" performance. Kim Wick gave the tour. What a magnificent place! There is a restaurant patterned after Tavern on the Green (with many of their original items). The Wicks are wonderful people. The theater is a great place for a production. Felt so professional, yet cozy.
What a lovely evening that must have been. I love doing things like that. Tavern on the Green --- a place where I've always wanted to dine, but only saw it from the outside--now it's no longer there :( How nice that you have one similar. Really beautiful display captured here, Danette!
@cimes1@gailmmeek The Wicks have over $20 million worth of costumes. There are just some on display. The theater and museum just opened a few months ago. We don't often go to the theater and it is often a hassle. However, this one seats 333 people and offers a comfort level not seen at larger theaters. This photo doesn't begin to show the real elegance of these dresses. This display was in the lobby as you enter the door!!
