Nativity by danette

Nativity

Once again, at the Gaylord Palms "ICE!" exhibit (featuring the story of Frosty). The end features a room with a larger than life-size nativity scene all carved from ice. It is beyond spectacular. It was hard to get a good angle with the narrow space. It is much more beautiful than my photo.

"ICE!" has come to an end for the year. Read here how they dismantle it:

What do they do with them after they are dismantled?

@skipt07 Chainsaws. :-(. Ripped apart by their artists. However, the Holy Family is allowed to melt.

@mittens Probably if I had a tripod I could have gotten a better shot. Very difficult lighting conditions.

One of these days, I really need to see this fascinating exhibit. Love that nativity scene and it's interesting to hear they allow this one to melt.
