A friend gave me an "assignment" the other day to capture some clouds. Thankfully the sky has been amazing. I took some great shots earlier today, then snapped this with my phone. Turns out to be one of my favorites for the day.
@skipt07 Not sure what you will find on the internet. I got it from my book, "The Cloudspotter's Guide" by Gavin Pretor-Pinney. I thought it always looked like popcorn. It is suppose to foretell light rain. They are altocumulus.
