Knight Parade at Ybor City

We briefly visited Ybor City because I was curious. My son drove us through but warned that it can be unsafe. When we got there, they were closing the streets for a parade. 100,000 came and many were dressed this way. When the lady saw me taking a photo, they smiled and waved. There were some wacky characters. Unfortunately, it turns out there was a shooting later on.

Great happy capture. I'm urprised to hear how unsafe it is. Last time I was there was at the Columbia Restaurant in 1998 --- Wow, that was a long time ago!!

@cimes1 My son says it is okay to go there during the day, but the area around it is rough. Even the State Fair was shut down early on Friday night because of a teen fight. This parade does look like fun. The costumes were unbelievable.
