Trains have a fascinating way of capturing our attention. I love the artistic feel and antique quality that you brought out in your photograph, Danette. It reminds me of a postcard from my grandparents house. :) I've taken a few pictures of trains from Washington state, and posted them on my flickr.com/donhoupt page.
@mittens Thanks, Marilyn. I had it sitting in my computer for several days. I wanted to use it, but also wanted to make it the best I could.
@sjc88 Thanks for your input, Steve. Very much appreciated.
@kporte Thanks so much, Keith. You have such awesome photos that I look at every day and don't often comment. They blow me away, though!
@donhoupt Thanks so much for the follow, Don. That vintage look is what I wanted. I was actually stopped at a traffic light when the train was coming through. A man was hanging off the front of it and I couldn't get my camera ready fast enough. The train stopped and the man was doing something on the tracks. I was only there a few minutes (traffic was heavy, light was long!) but I don't often get to photograph trains. I will definitely check out your flickr site.
