@squamloon Yes...it's called stopping for "lunch" at a gas station in the middle of the woods and stalking this Sandhills Crane as he waits for handouts. :-). Very difficult lighting. Half of the background was white (blown out), so I toned down/eliminated the rest.
I love sandhill cranes and for some reason am not seeing them around like I used to. What a fantastic detailed capture against the white space. Fav and pin.
