Two years ago, the theme at our church was "Purple Christmas". I loved it so much, I bought some purple lights. This year, I had the courage to use them! We also have gold lights, so it looks rather regal.
Good for you, using the purple lights! I have used pink and/or purple for years! One time my sister told me that pink was not a Christmas color! I think of that every year but keep right on using them! gorgeous shot ... fav
@lynnz Thanks, Lynn. I have been a very staunch red/green/gold proponent and I would never deviate. Our church made everything purple that year and we still have a large purple wall. It really changed my thinking since, after all, it is the color of royalty. People do look at you a little cross-eyed about it. We got a ton of attention in the community.
