A little elbow grease by danette

A little elbow grease

Our church acquired another one that needed new life. Today, about 100 people turned out to spruce it up. This young lady was on the second floor, so it was taken from a distance. I liked the feeling of it.
I just finished reading a fictional book entitled, "Norman Rockwell's Greatest Painting". Since he was one of America's greatest illustrators, if not the greatest, this has a feel of being an illustration more so than a photo. At least IMHO! Great composition and framing! FAV!

@skipt07 That's what I was going for. Since the distance was long and she was away from the window, I liked how it was a bit delicate and dreamy. Thanks for seeing that!

So different from your other recent posting. This is really wonderful...that you were able to frame her face within one window pane is great timing on your part. And the white cloth with its pink trim against the blue...you've made art.

@granagringa Thanks! I wish I could have made an alternate view of her farther away, but then her face doesn't show. I was happy with this. :-)

I like the feeling of it too. It has an unusual quality, almost as if it was illustrated.
