It's a Boy! by danette

It's a Boy!

My son and daughter-in-law had a party last night to announce the gender of their baby. Even they didn't know. She threw a baseball and he batted it open. Does anyone else have trouble photographing family events???
It looks like you had a lot of fun. I have trouble with family events. Always!!!
I think you were able to do it just fine!

Not my strong point. The trick can be to either try for candid shots or ask them not to look directly at you and snap on rapid repeat. and get several at once you will lif they are unaware you are shooting several they will start to fool around or talk without paying attention to you. Worked for me today.

@joansmor I just wondered why I lost my mind when he went to hit the baseball and only took one photo! I should have just held down the shutter!!

@danette The problem is you are a participant too. You got excited. Why you want professionals to do weddings. As an amateur you get the best you can but don't forget to enjoy and participate.
